EDITORIAL POLICY & DISCLAIMER

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Part A: Editorial Policy

  1. Our mission

Inside Infrastructure. Beyond Headlines. InfraInsiders reports on the projects, policies, companies and people shaping how India builds. We aim to be accurate, fair, independent and clear, so readers, investors, homebuyers, professionals and citizens can make informed decisions.

  1. What we cover

Infrastructure and urban development, railways and metro, real estate and RERA, listed and unlisted companies, startups and funding, and statements by policymakers and industry leaders (“Leader’s Speak”).

  1. Sourcing and verification

We rely on primary and credible sources wherever possible:

  • Government and regulator releases (ministries, PIB, state departments, municipal bodies, RERA authorities)
  • Stock-exchange filings and company statements
  • Court orders and official documents
  • Industry reports, with the publisher named
  • On-the-record interviews, and wire and news-agency reports

We check figures (project costs, lengths, dates, stakes, funding amounts) against the source before publishing. If something cannot be independently verified, we say so and attribute it, for example “according to officials” or “the company said.”

  1. Attribution and use of other sources

When a story is based on another outlet’s original reporting, a news agency, or a report, we credit the source. We do not copy articles. We rewrite in our own words and add context where we can. [Edit to match your actual practice.] Original reporting is labelled as such where applicable.

  1. Press releases and company announcements

We may use press releases as a starting point, but we treat their claims as claims, not facts, and we attribute them. We do not publish promotional material as news.

  1. Statements and “Leader’s Speak”

Remarks by ministers, regulators, CEOs and other leaders are reported as statements by those individuals. Publishing a statement is not an endorsement of it. Where a claim is disputed or lacks evidence, we add context or response.

  1. Projections, targets and timelines

Infrastructure and real-estate stories often involve expected opening dates, targets and forecasts. These are reported as expectations (“likely,” “expected,” “targeted”) and can change. We update stories when timelines or approvals change.

  1. Developing stories

For breaking events such as accidents, fires and collapses, early reports may be incomplete or conflicting. We label unconfirmed details, avoid speculating on cause or blame, and update the story as official information emerges, noting the update time.

  1. Independence and commercial separation

Advertisers, sponsors, partners and supporters have no say over what we cover or how. Coverage is never promised in exchange for money, gifts or access. Sponsored or partner content is clearly labelled and kept separate from news. Reader contributions through “Support Infra Insiders” do not buy coverage.

  1. Conflicts of interest

Our team must disclose any financial or personal interest in a company, project or property they cover. Where a conflict exists, they are removed from that story, or we disclose the relationship to readers.

  1. Opinion, analysis and news

News, analysis and opinion are distinguished. Views expressed by guest writers and quoted individuals are their own and do not necessarily reflect InfraInsiders’ views.

  1. Images, video and social content

We credit photographs and videos where the source is known. Images used for illustration are marked “Representative image” where appropriate. Our YouTube Shorts and social posts follow the same accuracy and sourcing standards. We do not knowingly publish manipulated media as real.

  1. Sensitive coverage

In stories about accidents, crime and disasters, we take care with victims, minors and families, avoid graphic imagery, and do not identify victims of sexual offences or minors in conflict with the law.

  1. Use of AI

We may use AI tools for tasks like transcription, translation or headline suggestions. AI does not replace editorial judgment, and every story is reviewed by a human editor before publication.

  1. Corrections and updates

When we make a factual error, we correct it promptly. For significant errors, we add a visible note at the end of the article stating what was changed and when. Minor typographical fixes may be made without a note. If a story is materially updated, we mark the update time. To report an error, email [updates@infrainsiders.com] with the article link and the supporting source.

  1. Right of reply

People and organisations named in our reporting may request a response or clarification. We will consider publishing it where it is relevant and factual.
