In a major milestone for the smartphone industry, Apple has taken the wraps off its highly anticipated first foldable device—the iPhone Duo. Coming in at a starting price of Rs 2,99,900, it stands as the most expensive mobile offering from the company to date.
The iPhone Duo will be offered in two signature colorways, Star White and Night Sky, across four extensive storage configurations: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.
Global pre-orders—including for customers in India—will kick off at 5 a.m. PT on Friday, October 16, with official in-store availability and deliveries beginning Friday, October 23.
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Lineup Announced
In addition to the foldable device, Apple detailed the rollout of its ultra-premium flagship range: the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The launch announcements coincide with a period of record-breaking financial and market performance for Apple within India.
Driven by surging local demand and expanding shipment volumes, Apple’s annual revenue in India for FY26 is estimated to have crossed USD 10 billion, pushing past the landmark Rs 1 lakh crore threshold. According to data from Counterpoint Research, Apple’s iPhone shipments in India reached 14 million units in FY26, marking a robust 24 percent year-on-year growth and cementing the iPhone as the primary driver of the company’s domestic revenue.
