Indian Railways has launched a direct tri-weekly rail link connecting western and eastern India. Train No. 19427/19428 Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will cover a distance of 2,532 km across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Laborers from Bihar working in Gujarat expressed happiness on the introduction of the train ahead of the festive season.

“This is a good decision. It will help us get confirm seat during festivals like Diwali and Chhath when majority of us visit our native places to celebrate,” Sonu Singh, a resident of Mokama, Bihar, currently working in Gujarat, told InfraInsiders.
