Indian industrial conglomerates announced mega investment commitments on Friday to accelerate regional infrastructure and green energy growth. Specifically, Adani bets Rs 6 lakh crore on Maharashtra across airports, renewable power, data centres, and urban renewal projects. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries plans to invest Rs 1 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh for compressed biogas projects.

Furthermore, Pranav Adani announced the group’s massive blueprint during the ‘Invest Maharashtra’ platform launch in Mumbai. The investments directly support Maharashtra’s goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy by 2030.
Additionally, projects worth Rs 2.6 lakh crore are already completed or under active execution across the state. Consequently, the group continues expanding Mumbai’s aviation hubs, power grids, and the Dharavi Redevelopment Project.

Therefore, Reliance Industries Executive Director Anant Ambani highlighted the company’s Rs 1 lakh crore commitment in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at Madanapalle, he stated that compressed biogas plants will generate over 3 lakh local jobs.
Specifically, these clean energy investments align with the Union Cabinet’s newly approved Rs 23,731 crore GOBARdhan scheme. Thus, major private investments are expanding India’s green energy security under the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision.
