Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 53rd meeting of PRAGATI at Seva Teerth. Consequently, the infrastructure projects push by PM Modi covered six mega projects worth over Rs 30,000 crore across nine states. The review focused on railways, roads, and power infrastructure to boost economic connectivity.
Integrated planning drives regional economic connectivity
Modi stated that agencies must view infrastructure projects as unified wholes rather than isolated segments. Furthermore, he warned that project delays postpone intended economic benefits for citizens and businesses.
Therefore, central ministries and state governments must adopt proactive ownership to avoid commission gaps. Additionally, Modi urged planners to explore common utility corridors during early transport project design.
| Sector Focus | Number of States | Combined Project Investment | Primary Objectives |
| Railways, Roads & Power | 9 States | Rs 30,000+ Crore | Inter-agency coordination, zero delays, superior quality |
| Digital Agriculture (AgriStack) | All India | Central & State Funding | AI integration, data-driven farming, input planning |

AI integration and cyber safety top governance agenda
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister evaluated AgriStack under the Digital Agriculture Mission. He urged authorities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to maximize value from agricultural data ecosystems. Consequently, farmers will receive data-driven support from input planning through processing.
Furthermore, Modi addressed rising cyber fraud and ‘digital arrest’ cases directly. He instructed agencies to run public awareness campaigns targeting vulnerable citizens, especially seniors and youth. Thus, capacity building will ensure personnel identify and combat digital threats rapidly.
