Inner Sky Labs unveils physical AI models to power diverse robotic systems, marking a major strategic pivot for the startup. Specifically, the maker of Miko companion robots launched a comprehensive software intelligence suite on Friday. Furthermore, cofounder and CEO Sneh Vaswani confirmed the company is closing a Rs 300 crore ($30.9 million) funding round.
Proprietary Sanskrit-named model suite drives multi-sensory robotics intelligence
Specifically, the company organized its proprietary physical AI architecture into three distinct functional layers. The multi-sensory perception layer includes Drishti for vision, Shruti for audio, and Sparsh for touch.
Additionally, the action layer comprises Kriya, Prana, and Karma to control real-world robotic movement. Meanwhile, the dedicated Kavach safety layer applies over 20 strict operational guardrails.
| Model Layer | Model Name & Purpose | Sanskrit Meaning |
| Perception Layer | Drishti (Vision), Shruti (Audio), Sparsh (Touch) | Sight, Hearing, Touch |
| Action Layer | Kriya, Prana, Karma (Planning & Movement) | Action, Vital Force, Deed |
| Safety Layer | Kavach (20+ Security Guardrails) | Armour |
Global investor backing powers enterprise expansion beyond consumer hardware
Consequently, existing investors YourNest Venture Capital and Keshav R Murugesh joined new global backers for the round. The latest equity infusion pushes the IIT Bombay-founded startup’s total capital raised to $100 million.
Furthermore, the hardware-agnostic models can deploy across cloud, on-premises, or air-gapped defense infrastructure. Meanwhile, the enterprise software platform already powers four to five major commercial deployments across the US, Europe, and Africa. Therefore, as Inner Sky Labs unveils physical AI models, domestic Indian technology pioneers continue driving sovereign AI innovations worldwide.
