Strengthening its footprint in advanced automation, Bajaj Finance Limited has secured a 5% stake in the AI-driven video generation startup TrueFan AI (operated by Hogwarts E-learning Universe Private Limited). While financial specifics of the equity transaction remain confidential, the move builds upon an existing commercial partnership where Bajaj Finance has already utilized the startup’s platform at scale for customer engagement and dealer communication.

The equity acquisition is spearheaded through Finserv Intelligence, Bajaj Finserv’s group-wide initiative dedicated to applied research and emerging technologies. Launched in May 2026, the umbrella program anchors a five-year commitment to invest between Rs 1,500 crore and Rs 2,000 crore into early-stage and growth startups specializing in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, and fintech.

Highlighting the practical motivation behind the investment, Rajeev Jain, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Finance, stated:

“Our investment in TrueFan AI follows sustained, production-scale use of its technology, giving us first-hand experience of the platform’s capabilities and its execution.”

Expanding AI Use Cases Across Operations

Following the equity tie-up, Bajaj Finance and TrueFan AI plan to widen the application of generative video tools across multiple verticals, including:

  • Hyper-personalized digital marketing and large-scale video campaigns
  • In-app live avatar assistance and interactive customer support
  • Multilingual communication and onboarding workflows
  • Specialized dealer outreach, corporate learning, and development modules

Headquartered in Gurugram, TrueFan AI specializes in transforming a single source recording into massive volumes of customized video variations across more than 175 languages. Its proprietary infrastructure boasts the capacity to generate up to 500,000 videos per minute, alongside creating lifelike AI avatars of business figures, medical professionals, and public personalities.

The startup currently serves over 100 enterprise clients—including Amazon, HP, HDFC Bank, and Cipla. This latest corporate backing follows TrueFan AI’s $10 million Series A funding round in June 2026, which was co-led by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3Partners to fuel international expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United States.
