Capital inflow rose 14.9% compared to the previous week, although total deal count dropped by 23.8%, according to various reports.
Cleantech dominates sector capital inflows while e-commerce leads deal volume
Furthermore, cleantech topped the sector charts after EV manufacturer Simple Energy secured a $180 Mn Series C round. Proptech startup Gravity followed with $15 Mn, while fintech firm Seeds Fincap and agritech platform Balwaan Krishi raised $10.4 Mn each.
Additionally, edtech platform Arivihan raised $10.2 Mn in Series A funding. E-commerce led overall deal volume, securing four separate deals totaling $3.8 Mn. Meanwhile, venture lender Alteria Capital emerged as the most active investor by backing three startups.
