MeitY and industry leaders welcome the national initiative
“A strong, multi-stakeholder approach is key to growing India’s deeptech ecosystem,” stated S. Krishnan, Secretary at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Therefore, government bodies support the multi-sector forum to achieve national scaling ambitions.
“India has the founders and capital for world-class deeptech, but policy must catch up,” stated Shweta Rajpal Kohli, President and CEO of Startup Policy Forum. Furthermore, DeepVerse builds upon the successful #100DesiDeepTechs initiative launched alongside MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, and IIT Madras. Thus, Startup Policy Forum launches DeepVerse to institutionalise founder commentary and release actionable policy reports soon.
