Delhi Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa unveiled the ‘Compendium of Schemes for MSMEs & Startups’ during the Udyam Samvad 2026 summit today. Hosted by the Delhi Government’s Industries Department at Delhi Sachivalaya, the event brought together startups, Self Help Groups, and business leaders. The new publication aggregates more than 50 central and Delhi state schemes to help local entrepreneurs access critical funding and market support.

Delhi Unveils New Startup and Industrial Policies

The Delhi Government is overhauling its startup ecosystem through comprehensive policy updates. Key upcoming frameworks include the New Startup Policy, New Industrial Policy, New Export Promotion Policy, and the Delhi Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Bill 2026.

To assist local enterprises and startups in tapping into global markets, the government is establishing an Export Promotion Cell. The cell will actively help businesses leverage India’s international Free Trade Agreements.

Specialized Guidance Targets Women-Led Startups

The administration is deploying dedicated support teams to assist home-based women entrepreneurs and early-stage founders. These teams will streamline licensing, business registrations, and formal marketplace integration.

Under the RAMP programme, the department offers hands-on training to onboard young entrepreneurs onto the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Furthermore, credit guarantees under the CGTMSE scheme continue to provide funding access to small businesses.

Industrial Hubs to Receive Infrastructure Boost

The Delhi Government issued tenders for road upgrades across industrial areas to rebuild local infrastructure. Authorities also plan to construct modern exhibition centers and business facilitation zones across key industrial hubs.

The single-day event included technical sessions covering DPIIT startup schemes, TReDS financing, SIDBI financial products, and export assistance programs. Sirsa affirmed that continuous industry dialogue will directly guide future state policy design.
