Amazon India launched Early Deals for its Great Indian Festival 2026 today, September 25. The platform offers its lowest prices of the year across major consumer categories.

The main sale event begins on October 8, 2026. However, shoppers can already access early savings on smartphones, consumer electronics, home appliances, and fashion.

Logistics Scale-Up and Hiring Push

Amazon Now expanded fourfold in under 10 weeks. The quick-commerce arm now delivers essentials within minutes across more than 65 Indian cities. The platform also offers one million products for same-day delivery and four million items for next-day dispatch.

To support this festive spike, Amazon India created over 160,000 seasonal jobs across 400 cities. The company opened 20 fulfillment centers, six sort centers, and 150 delivery hubs across 118 cities. This buildout boosted operational storage capacity by 50% to 64 million cubic feet.

The retailer’s active seller base now tops 20 lakh merchants after adding 3 lakh new sellers this year.
